ShiroBliss automatic shirodhara systems

ShiroBliss crafts two automatic shirodhara system models. Both hold the oil at a precise temperature, recirculate it silently, deliver an unbroken stream for the full length of a treatment, and rely on the practitioner to move the shirodhara bowl. They share the same bamboo build and the same quiet, temperature-controlled heart. Where they differ is form: one is built to travel, one is built to live in the treatment room.

Built the same way

Every ShiroBliss is made from sustainable bamboo, medical and food grade silicone tubing, stainless steel, and copper — no aluminum. Each maintains a manually selected oil temperature. Each runs silently and rolls on wheels. The core platform is shared; the two models simply wear it differently.

Precise temperature control

ShiroBliss uses a sophisticated temperature control system that holds the desired temperature to within a few degrees without therapist intervention. The system accommodates different room temperatures, or sudden changes like the addition of cold oil. Systems without temperature control can get dangerously hot if not monitored continuously. ShiroBliss allows the user to specify the exact desired oil temperature up to a safe maximum of 108°F and reaches temperature in about 12 minutes. It is a “set and forget” system that allows the practitioner to focus on the client.

Self-administration feature

This feature is designed for people who need frequent shirodhara without a helper at home — and for practitioners treating themselves — the controls let the person receiving the treatment run it on their own.

Remote & auto-off control

A remote keyfob and on-unit menu set an Auto-Off timer, up to 99 minutes, so the stream stops on its own set to the duration of your choosing.

At-a-glance digital display

The digital display shows the current time, elapsed time since the treatment began, the current oil temperature, and the target temperature — all in one readout.

The Elite

Contemporary lines, button controls, and easy transport by car. Rolls up to a shiropillow at the end of your massage table.

The Essence

Classical Indian lines, touch controls, and a built-in basin and headrest. A dedicated system for the treatment room. Can be used with massage tables, beds, and other functional platforms,

Elite vs. Essence - a comparison

Both systems do the same core thing equally well: they produce and maintain a temperature-regulated, silent, unbroken stream of oil for the duration of a full treatment. The choice between them isn't about quality — it's about how and where you practice.

Both are bamboo, both temperature-controlled to within a few degrees, both silent, both on wheels, both feature a readout display, remote control, and are self-administration enabled. Identical platform. Here are the differences:

CONTEMPORARY - PORTABLE
The Elite
CLASSICAL - DEDICATED
The Essence

BEST FOR

The Elite: A practice on the move. Compact and light enough to lift into a car's passenger seat — convenient for home visits. Legs can be removed. Armature disassembles into 2 pieces. The ShiroBliss weighs only 28 pounds, making it easy to lift when loading and unloading.

The Essence: Best as a dedicated feature of an elevated treatment room. Enables multi-platform access for administration of shirodhara (compatible with beds and other platform variations). Heavier to transport. Needs more complex disassembly to load into a car.

AESTHETIC

The Elite: Contemporary lines.

The Essence: Classical Indian lines.

CONTROLS

The Elite: Physical buttons.

The Essence: Touch interface.

SETUP

The Elite: Rolls up to a shiropillow attached to your massage table. Needs a massage table with two face-cradle holes. The client's head rests on the ShiroPillow, which channels oil back to the bowl. With regular use, plan to replace the ShiroPillow about every two years.

The Essence: Built-in basin and headrest. Completely stand-alone — works with non-standard massage tables or beds. An innovative mesh "head hammock" cradles the head — no oil pools underneath, and the head stays face-up even if the client drifts off. Launder between clients; ships with three (more on request).

MATERIALS & FINISH

The Elite: Clean, contemporary, and purpose-built for a practice on the move. Everything the treatment needs, nothing it doesn't.

The Essence: Traditional styling. More bamboo, more cabinetry, and more hand-finishing go into its classical form and integrated basin. A piece meant to anchor a treatment room.

FIRST TIME ASSEMBLY

The Elite: Minimal steps to assemble for first use.

The Essence: A more involved initial assembly, with an instructional video to walk you through it.

If you are a mobile practitioner and move between homes, clinics, or to events, choose the Elite. If you're building an elevated treatment room and clients will always come to you, or you want a system that works with all platforms - not just massage tables - choose the Essence. Either way, the treatment your client receives is the same.
